Preqin launches risk management solution for private markets

Preqin, a specialist provider of alternative assets data, tools and insights, has launched Transaction Intelligence. It is available to clients through the firm’s flagship platform, Preqin Pro, or as a standalone product.

Transaction Intelligence provides aggregated and anonymised transaction data at the deal and asset-level, combining customisable visualisation tools with aggregated and anonymised deal performance data and asset operational metrics.

According to a press statement, Transaction Intelligence provides “meaningful insights across front and middle office roles, allowing investment professionals to benchmark portfolios with increased accuracy, pinpoint high-potential sectors, refine valuation models, and meaningfully optimise individual strategies using real, relevant transactions data”.
